What are vectors?
A vector is a quantity that has both magnitude and direction. Displacement, velocity, and force are all examples of vector quantities. The length of a vector represents its magnitude. The direction of a vector is its position relative to a given coordinate system.
A scalar is a real number. Distance, speed, and mass are all examples of scalar quantities.
