Vectors are everywhere...I'm preparing to do a physics unit on force and motion in my science methods class.  Did you know that Superman (as the story was originally written, before he gained his power of flight) actually obeyed the laws of physics?  His ability to "leap tall buildings in a single bound" is actually the result of the gravity differential between Krypton and Earth.  Gravity is the force "pulling" things toward the center of a planet; it is usually represented in a free body diagram with a vector pointing straight down.

I found some really cool vector games online today.  I'm setting up the links on a "Fun and Games" page.  Check them out!

Finally, I have finished the lesson plan that was the inspiration for this website.  I hope I have time to load up everything that I want to put here...

I am taking a class at the University of Michigan about the use of technology in education.  I'm using this website to relay some information about vector analysis in preparation for a lesson that I am putting together for my class.  Read up and enjoy, math can be fun!
